CROPS is committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all children and young people who have contact with the organisation in all of our settings.
We believe that children and young people should never experience abuse of any kind and that we have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people, to keep them safe and to practise in a way that protects them.
We take our responsibility to Safeguarding extremely seriously and ensure that all staff and volunteers are trained and committed to providing this safe environment. CROPS has a dedicated Safeguarding Officer and a designated Trustee in charge of Safeguarding and we work in partnership with ThirtyOne:Eight (formerly the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service), the only independent Christian Safeguarding charity in the UK.
Below you will find a document summarising our safeguarding policies and procedures. Our Safeguarding Policy Statement and Safeguarding Policy and Best Practice Guide are currently being reviewed and updated and will be available to view shortly once they have been agreed by the Board of Trustees.

If you want to report that someone has acted inappropriately towards you online, or to a child or young person you know, it may be sexual chat, being asked to do something that makes you feel uncomfortable or someone being insistent on meeting up.
