The Point is a monthly city wide youth event held at Park Road Baptist Church, Peterborough.
The event is aimed at young people of secondary school age, and is run by CROPS in partnership with youth leaders from local churches. It takes place from 7:00pm until 9:30pm and includes worship led by The Point band, a challenging message and an opportunity for response and prayer plus our all new Cafe-Lounge at the end of the evening (with hot snacks & drinks, Point tuck-bar). Sophie is 16 and is in her first year of A-Levels. She loves music and Jesus, and longs for her friends to be fully set free by His love. When she finishes school she is going to take a gap year.
Imogen lives in Northamptonshire and works for her local church and the Diocese of Peterborough. In her work she spend lots of time with young people and those who are new to church or just starting to explore faith. Imogen is interested in fresh ways of doing church and has been developing a pampering church over the past 2 years. In her spare time she will often just be hanging out with my friends, binge watching tv series or playing board games!
Sam is a Youthworker at Eye St Matthew Church. Is a talented video editor and humerous interviewer. He is part of the CROPS Point and Letton team. He also loves hugging street art
Murray is a fresh expressions missions worker for the diocese of Ely based at Christ Church Orton Goldhay. Murray has a heart for prayer, conversations and meeting people where they are at. Murray also has amazing dance moves that he will demonstrate if you ask,and has a cardboard cereal box hamster mask that he keeps in his car.
