“One generation will commend Your works to another;
they will tell of Your mighty acts.”
Psalm 145:4

What is the CROPS gap year?

Since 1989, CROPS has had numerous young adults travel with the Trust for a year  - many prior to university or Bible College, some post university – some looking to go down other routes!

Whether you are looking to go into full or part time Christian ministry, or seeking to work as a Christian in education, business, media, government, non profits etc –  a year with CROPS is worth considering!

At CROPS we are passionate about communicating and demonstrating Christian truth and life-style to this generation of young people and the CROPS gap year is a chance to get involved in the full variety of CROPS ministry.

The year is packed with primary & secondary school work (assemblies, lessons, clubs, Christian unions and more), as well as CROPS youth events such as The Point, the Letton Hall houseparty and Street Invasion, a city wide youth led summer mission in Peterborough.

The CROPS gap year is not just a time to give, but also to receive. At CROPS we believe in the development of our gappers and aim to invest in you as you invest in a generation!

Further Info:

For more information about the CROPS gap year, or to request an application form please email us at crops@crops.org.uk.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to UCAS applications deadlines dates (for those wishing to enter  higher education) we generally like applications to reach us well in advance of Christmas (early November) so that interviews can be conducted in time before this deadline. However, if you are enquiring later in the year – it is still worth getting in touch in case our scheme is not fully booked!
