Street Invasion 2010 Concert!

Street Invasion is approaching fast, and we thought we’d fill you in on the info about the concert at the end of the week (Sat Aug 7). This year we are excited to announce that we have one of the best Christian hip-hop groups in the UK, 29th Chapter (www.29thchapter.com)!! They will also be supported by Norwich based band Kairos (www.kairos-band.co.uk).

The Hope for Peterborough steering group are inviting all church leadership teams to attend an evening at KingsGate where Roy Crowne (former national Director of YFC) will be speaking about the future of the Hope initiative, and how we can continue the work started in 2008. We had a special guest speaker join us for the May Point – Simon Guillebaud (pronounced “Gilbo” !) is the founder of Great Lakes Outreach in Burundi, Africa, and he gave us an extremely challenging message about being dangerous Christians, and the urgency of spreading the Good News to those around us.
